Florence Brewing Company was established in 2016 in historic downtown Florence by Hans Prahl. The brewery has grown over the years with 19 beers now on tap! They have most recently transitioned into a brewpub by partnering with a local food truck, SoCo Chicken. With 6 years of focusing on the craftsmanship and quality of their beers, they knew that they would need to find a food producer that held themselves to the same high standards.

C SQUARED CIDERS
PENROSE, CO
Established in 2015, C Squared Ciders recently relocated from Denver to Penrose! Rehabbing an old apple orchard and barn, they’re producing high quality ciders. To do this, they combined decades of craft brewing experience with cider/winemaking techniques to bring new flavors to the world of cider. They use 100% apple juice in every fermentation without any added sugar, un-natural ingredients, or preservatives.

The San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado has a rich history of agriculture and all of our beers include barley grown by co-owner, Derek Heersink, and malted locally within the SLV. Our beers are carefully crafted with this agrarian lineage in mind as we seek to showcase the journey of our ingredients from the field to your glass. We proudly focus on our lager brewing to highlight the quality of the ingredients coming from our local agriculture and we celebrate the chance to share that quality with our customers. Hop heads, need not fret as we love to brew quality ales with the same attention to detail and homage to the grower. We have something for everyone here at Square Peg Brewerks and we look forward to sharing a pint with you. Cheers

We are a tiny team of craftswomen with a penchant for quality brews, cocktails, and great times!
We craft small batch brews right here in the shadows of the beautiful Spanish Peaks and are currently in the process of moving our brew house to a larger facility right here in Walsenburg! (And a kitchen is on the way!)
Owner, Aubrey, creates prohibition-inspired cocktails from foraged and locally grown herbs, spices, and botanicals. Between our fresh brews, crafty cocktails, and funky fresh mocktails, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Apple Valley Cider Company was born in 2017 out of a love of craft brewing and cider making. After working in the brewing industry for years I wanted to start something of my own. I always enjoyed making cider and wanted to share it with friends and my hometown of Penrose, CO. Penrose sits in an area known for its apple orchards along the Arkansas river. Apples are a big part of the history of Penrose Colorado. The first orchards were planted here during the Civil War, and for generations, Penrose apples were shipped by train to the Midwest and beyond. The area became known as Apple Valley and Apple Valley Cider Company wants to keep that history alive. All of our ciders are gluten free and made with no added sugar, just apple juice and pureed fruit.

We gather friends and family every season to crush grapes from a variety of regions including the Western Slope of Colorado to make our wine. Our Cab/Merlot blend is an exceptional wine with notes of cherry and has been a staple in our family recipe for almost two decades. Its always been about family and fun making wine, it was said early on that when it feels like work we would stop doing it. Since its inception not a day of “work” has been done creating these wonderful wines while we have been enjoying the wine experience in Penrose, CO with family.
